Ten years old today: the second Grey Frequency album Cold Geometry. Six pieces of dark ambient drone recorded between January and September 2013 using an array of Walkmans, tape recorders and some cheap effects pedals. Sound sources included acoustic guitar, shortwave radio, piano, self-help tapes, a Korg Poly-800 and various found sounds and field recordings. The album was self-released on Bandcamp as a digital download along with 15 hand-numbered cassettes with photocopied inserts. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Cold Geometry, there is a one of a kind cassette copy of the album on the Grey Frequency Bandcamp page. This cassette has been home-dubbed, with a photocopied insert, housed in a polybox, and comes with a button badge. (NOTE: SOLD)
